Alabama football saw their odds to win the 2025-26 College Football National Championship rise after the hiring of Ryan Grubb as their newest offensive coordinator on Sunday evening.

Before Grubb’s addition, the Crimson Tide had originally opened up the offseason at +1800 odds to win it all, via FanDuel Sportsbook. Since the announcement of Grubb’s hiring in Tuscaloosa, those odds have now increased to +1600. This recent surge currently puts the Tide in an eighth-place tie with Tennessee to bring home next year’s national title. This probability only trails Notre Dame (+1200) Penn State (+800), Georgia (+700), Oregon (+650), Texas (+650), and Ohio State (+600).

It will be intriguing to see if these odds are subject to change based off the potential new heights Grubb can take the Crimson Tide offense to after reuniting with second year Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer in 2025.
