Brian Robinson Jr has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick, per multiple reports.

Robinson takes his talents to San Francisco after providing consistent production across his three years as a starter in Washington, never rushing for fewer than 733 yards a season. In 2024, Robinson posted career-highs on the ground, rushing for 799 yards and eight touchdowns.

The former Alabama tailback also showed versatility as a receiver out of the backfield, reeling in 65 receptions for 587 yards and five touchdowns.

Robinson now enters the final year of his rookie contract and is expected to provide much-needed depth behind 49ers starter Christian McCaffrey in the San Francisco backfield.
