Wisconsin is expected to be without its starting quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. against Alabama on Saturday, per multiple reports.
Edwards will travel with the team and go through warm-ups, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports.
The quarterback went down with an injury in the Badgers’ season opener.
Danny O’Neil is expected to start at quarterback for the Badgers against Alabama. O’Neil was complimentary of Alabama earlier this week.
“They’re still Alabama,” O’Neil said. “They’ve got a bunch of good athletes. They’re well-coached, and it’s going to be a good opportunity for us to really see where we’re at, going into a hostile environment, playing a really good team and just seeing how we stack up against them.”
