A rising 2028 edge prospect out of Saraland High School in Alabama is quickly emerging as one of the most intriguing defensive prospects in the Southeast.
Standing at 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds, Keoni Snipes possesses the length, frame and upside college programs covet at the next level, and his recruitment is beginning to reflect it.
Snipes recently picked up an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs, adding to a growing list.
“Well, with me still being young and receiving big-time offers like this, it’s just an amazing feeling to know that my hard work is paying off,” Snipes told Touchdown Alabama.
The sophomore revealed multiple schools have been transparent in how they see him fitting into their defensive schemes. His versatility should allow to line up at different spots alongbtye defensive line at the next level.
In addition to his current offers, Snipes is also keeping a close eye on in-state attention, particularly from the Alabama Crimson Tide. He has been in contact with the Tide’s staff.
“An offer from Alabama would definitely mean a lot,” Snipes said. “They’re a good program that has had a lot of success. I feel like my skill set could fit well in their scheme.”
With elite size, positional versatility and early power conference interest, Snipes’ recruitment is clearly trending upward. As his body continues to mature and his game sharpens, expect his offer list and national profile to expand rapidly as programs continue to evaluate one of Alabama’s top edge prospects in the 2028 class.
