Justin Jefferson is expected to go in one of the later rounds in the 2026 NFL Draft, and that could make him a steal.
Jefferson was the Crimson Tide’s second leading tackler during the 2025 season. He finished the year with 85 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, one interception and one forced fumble.
The Alabama linebacker has met with a pair of teams for Top-30 visits ahead of this month’s draft, with the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons hosting him.
Each team gets to host up to 30 prospects for visits ahead of the draft.
Other teams that Jefferson has been linked to are the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints. ESPN’s Jordan Reid has the Cowboys taking Jefferson with the No. 180 overall pick in his mock draft. The Athletic’s Dan Brugler has the Saints taking Jefferson with the No. 150 overall pick.

Jefferson was listed at 6-foot and 238 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine, and he ran a solid 4.57 in the forty-yard dash. He also put some explosiveness on display with a 10′ 5″ broad jump and 38.5″ vertical jump.
The explosive linebacker is a player who has consistently played much bigger than his listed size. He has also been among the Tide’s leading tacklers over the last two seasons as an active defender who shines in space.

The team that snatched Jefferson late in this draft should love several characteristics of his game.
