Alabama football’s linebacker coach Chuck Morrell made a trip to Vigor High School on Wednesday night to check on Isaac McNeil in person.
McNeil is a 2027 four-star linebacker prospect, whom the Crimson Tide is recruiting hard. Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M are other teams involved with the four-star linebacker.
The Tide last hosted McNeil for a visit during the spring and sent a clear message to him.
“They are saying that I am a high priority for them and that I can be a strong asset to their defense in the future,” said McNeil.
At 6-foot-2 and approximately 210 pounds, Alabama likes McNeil as an inside linebacker. He made plays as an inside linebacker and while rushing from the edge during the 2025 football season. His ability to make tackles in space and close on the football with great speed jumps out on film.
