A lawsuit against Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. has been thrown out, according to the Norman Transcripts’ sports editor Davis Cordova.
Kirkpatrick Jr. is currently a defensive back for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and he is a legacy player. His dad played for the Tide under Nick Saban.
The lawsuit stemmed from Oklahoma fans rushing the field after the Sooners upset the Tide during the 2024 season. Holden Moxley, who was one of the fans who rushed the field, alleged Kirkpatrick struck him, and it resulted in Moxley having a concussion.
Judge Thad Balkman threw the case out because Oklahoma displayed cautions of personal harm on the video boards and through the public-address system, according to Cordova.
