Both of Alabama football’s 2027 quarterback commits are putting on their recruiting hats for the Crimson Tide.
Elijah Haven and Trent Seaborn are both aiming to help lead talent to Tuscaloosa. It is no surprise that the wide receiver position is one both signal callers are putting in work to recruit at the moment.
“Talking to Monshun Sales right now, elite receiver and Osani Gayles, another elite receiver,” Haven told Touchdown Alabama at the Elite 11 Finals. “So, just trying to rally that the motto is still Bama is the place to be.”
Sales is a 2027 five-star recruit, and Osani Gayles is another top 2027 wide receiver. Both are officially visiting the Crimson Tide this weekend. Seaborn is also working on both wide receivers, along with an Alabama running back target, a top offensive lineman and an impressive defensive back prospect.
“There are a few up there right now this weekend,” Seaborn said. “I wish I were up there with them, but that’s Monshun and Osani, Nigel Newkirk, trying to get Ismael (Camara), too, big offensive line kid. Defensively, I’m trying to get my teammate Junior (James). We’ll see how that goes. I think we got a pretty good shot at him, but there are some other schools going after him. Then there are other defensive guys out there, too.”
Newkirk, who is a four-star running back, is also on the campus of the University of Alabama this weekend for his official visit. He is down to Alabama, LSU, Michigan and Ohio State. Camara is a five-star offensive lineman that the Tide is in the running for. They will look to get him on campus in the fall for an official visit after he canceled all his summer official visits.

James is an impressive 6-foot-3 defensive back, and he is Seaborn’s teammate at Thompson High School. He is considering Alabama, Auburn, Indiana, Oregon and Texas.
