Alabama starting OL expected to return from injury against Florida State, per ESPN

Michael Carroll is expected to return to action against Florida State, according to ESPN’s Alex Scarborough.

Carroll is a sophomore offensive lineman for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and he starts at right guard.

Kalen DeBoer expressed confidence in getting Carroll back earlier this week.

“Michael, we’ll continue to work with him,” DeBoer said. “I feel confident that we’ll get there, but we’ll just kinda see how the week goes. I think it’s heading in a good direction. We hope to get him back.”

The Tide played without Carroll against Kentucky. Alabama decided to inserts its starting left guard Will Sanders in at right guard when Carroll was out. Mal Waldrep started at left guard in Sanders’ place.

Alabama vs. Florida State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
