Parker 4-Star DB CJ Craig-James enjoys ‘lit’ visit back to Alabama

CJ Craig-James returned to Tuscaloosa Saturday to watch the Crimson Tide take on Florida State.

Craig-James is a four-star defensive back prospect, and he attends Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama. His offer list includes offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and others.

The four-star enjoyed getting back to Tuscaloosa.

“It was lit,” Craig-James told Touchdown Alabama.

Alabama’s coaching staff has built a strong relationship with the in-state recruit, and he has trust in the product they put on the field.

“I’m real close to Coach Jones and Coach Mo (Linguist),” Craig-James said. “People don’t want to give them credit, but to me Bama has the best defensive backs in America.”

At 6-foot-3, Craig-James is a long safety who hovers around the back end of the Parker defense with great anticipation skills and impressive closing speed on the football field. He is known as a physical defensive back, and he wants there to be no doubt about his speed going forward.
