Ryan Grubb takes shot at Alabama fans for booing

Alabama football’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb took a shot at the Crimson Tide’s fans for booing during the Tide’s win over Florida State.

The Tide’s offense got off to a slow start against the Seminoles. Grubb said this prompted some ‘boo birds’ from Tide fans.

The Alabama OC said he was proud of the way his players responded to the situation on Monday.

“I told the guys, “I said, shoot, guys, if you’d have quit as fast as some of your fans, shit, we wouldn’t have won that game,”” Grubb said. “So I was proud of them. For a bunch of 19-year-olds to go out there and just 21-6 and not flinch, I was fired up.”

The Alabama offense bounced back from the slow start to beat Florida State 50-36. Keelon Russell led this comeback with a four-touchdown performance.
