6-foot-3 DB de-commits ahead of Alabama official visit

Preston Glasco announced a de-commitment from UConn on Tuesday.

Glasco is a 2027 defensive back, and he attends Grayson High School in Georgia. He holds a recent offer from Alabama, and Georgia is considered to be a program still involved with the defensive back.

The Crimson Tide offered Glasco earlier this month, and he has locked in an official visit with the Tide for this weekend.

“I think they’re a great program with greater people within,” Glasco told Touchdown Alabama after receiving an offer from the Tide. “They play fast and physical football, and that is why they’re successful team.”

The 6-foot-3, 192-pound defensive back possesses the frame and length the Crimson Tide continue to show heavy interest in. This length allows the defensive back to have a wide coverage radius due to their long arms. The senior also flashes the ability to be an effective tackler when he comes downhill to help in run support.
