Former Tide players react to first half of Alabama vs. Mississippi State

Multiple former Alabama players took to social media to share reactions to the Crimson Tide leading Mississippi State at the half.

Here is how they reacted:

Great first half from both sides offense and defense. Some costly turnovers and missed conversions killed the momentum but we weathered the storm and got back on track. Huge by the defense to hold St to a field goal after a few penalties kept them on the field.

Absolutely. Miss St. Is a good team and we knew they weren’t just going to rollover. But there were things that we did to stop ourselves that we can do better in the second half. Muffed Punt. Hill fumble. Missing the big throw on 3rd down to Brooks. That stuff is on us. https://t.co/88CQxnZMsa
