Another nail-biter, but this one went in the Tide’s favor. A week after a heart-breaking loss for Alabama bettors against South Carolina, the gambling gods returned the favor with a fortunate point spread cover against Southern Miss. Jerome Ford’s touchdown run with 1:37 left in the fourth quarter pushed the score to 49-7, allowing Alabama to cover last week’s 38-point spread against the Golden Eagles.

Alabama vs. Ole Miss Betting Preview

Nick Saban’s squad is once again a 38-point favorite over a school from Mississippi, but this time it’s Ole Miss. The Rebels are 1-3 against the spread this season, with that lone cover coming against Arkansas. Ole Miss was a little unlucky to drop last week’s contest with Cal. The Rebs out-gained Cal by 92 yards, had three more first downs, and didn’t commit a single turnover.
