Listed below are a couple of notes.

-Coach Saban was pleased with Mac Jones’ performance in last week’s game-like practice.

-According to him, the redshirt junior has had a ‘really good week’ this week as he continues to lead the quarterbacks in drills. In the video done by Alabama Athletics, Bryce Young, Paul Tyson and Stone Hollenbach (walk-on) all followed Jones with Steve Sarkisian watching them.

-Patrick Surtain II and Ronald Williams Jr. took cornerbacks through positional drills.

-The group worked on jamming wide receivers with its off-hand and keeping guys from exploding off the line of scrimmage.

Jahquez Robinson, a true freshman, was involved in the drill too.

-Alabama’s offensive line worked the sled in center/guard and guard/tackle pairings.

-The duo of DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle had wide receivers perform blocking techniques.

-On the defensive line, Freddie Roach’s group handled the sled.

-After seeing power from LaBryan Ray, Byron Young, Phidarian Mathis, Jah-Marien Latham and Jamil Burroughs all had a turn.

-The Crimson Tide wants to establish more physicality on the defensive front this season.

-Alabama will have its 15th practice on Wednesday at 3:40 p.m.
