A former standout in the defensive secondary for the University of Alabama may have found a new home in the National Football League.
Ha’Sean “Ha Ha” Clinton-Dix played three seasons at safety (2011-13) under Nick Saban.

He helped the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2012 and was a two-time BCS National Champion in 2011 and 2012. Clinton-Dix earned All-American and first-team All-SEC in 2013, after totaling 51 tackles (3.5 tackles for loss), four pass breakups, and two interceptions. He was selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and played five years with the Green Bay Packers. Despite being on three NFL teams — Washington Redskins (now Football Team), Chicago Bears, and Dallas Cowboys — in the last two and a half seasons, there is a franchise that needs help at safety.
On Friday, news came from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network that Clinton-Dix was visiting the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 28-year-old would join a defensive secondary that has Trayvon Mullen and Jonathan Abram. He would provide the Raiders with a voice on the backend and improve the defense.
In a division that has Patrick Mahomes II and Justin Herbert, Las Vegas needs as much secondary help as it can find. Clinton-Dix has a lot of football left in him.
Hopefully, the Raiders bring him in.
