Chris Braswell, a Baltimore (Md.) native, came into the Crimson Tide’s 2020 recruiting class as a five-star outside linebacker.

He helped the Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020, but Braswell has his sights on a marquee year in the fall. He finished 2022 with 20 tackles, four stops for loss, 2.5 sacks, six quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble, assisting the Tide to a 45-20 victory over Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Braswell will be looked upon to provide a marquee pass rush with Dallas Turner as Will Anderson is now in the National Football League.
