Alabama football has witnessed some of the most exciting offenses during the Nick Saban era.

The 2015 group was balanced with Derrick Henry, but 2018, 2019, and 2020 averaged 40+ points per game.

Bryce Young was the Crimson Tide's starting quarterback in 2021, and he turned in a season that earned him a Heisman Memorial Trophy as the first signal-callers in school history to win one. Alabama totaled 39.9 points per game that year.

Could this year's offense be the most explosive in Tide football history? Kalen DeBoer wants it to be, especially with the talent to showcase.

Alabama held its second scrimmage last week, and DeBoer was pleased with the continuity that is happening. He highlighted the offensive line's growth in pass protection and the confidence between quarterbacks and wide receivers.

"In that area, I am seeing ebbs and flows," DeBoer said.

"Some of it has to deal with we are in the middle of spring ball, you see the rhythm coming, you see them hitting some routes, and you are like 'man, we are getting there quick.' But, you then see the defense do a good job adjusting to what our offense is starting to do well and it falls off a little bit. Then the offense makes adjustments, and we don't have everything installed. You work on what you scripted that day. I can't say there are these huge highs and lows, which I am glad, but there is a consistency to continue to move forward each week and we took a step forward today."

Alabama has its final practice of the spring on Saturday as the A-Day Game is at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 3 p.m.

Tide fans will get their first look at quarterbacks and receivers in action.
