DeMeco Ryans put the Houston Texans in the playoffs as a first-year head coach in the National Football League.

The former University of Alabama linebacker did it with having several Crimson Tide alums on the roster, including three defensive players. Will Anderson Jr., a former two-time Unanimous All-American, earned the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Terrion Arnold, Anderson's former teammate at Alabama, is participating at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Arnold, a native of Tallahassee, Fla., turned in an outstanding season for the Crimson Tide in 2023. He recorded 63 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, a sack, 12 pass breakups (team-high), two quarterback hurries, a forced fumble, and five interceptions (team-high) in 14 games. Arnold became an elite player as a cornerback, helping Alabama to a Southeastern Conference title.

He met with the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium.

According to Cody Stoots, who covers the Texans, Arnold "loved" talking to Ryans and shouted out Anderson.

He wants to dominate at the next level, but will Houston be the spot for Arnold? It is going to be awesome to see where he lands.
