Former Tide receiver with high praise for freshman LB Shane Lee

Next season is the return to physicality for Alabama’s defense. 

Nick Saban is challenging everyone to get back to a dominant style of play and with assistant coaches of high tenure on staff, it will be interesting to see how the Crimson Tide looks on that side of the football. While numerous fans and respected members of the media have eyes glued on experienced veterans, there is one former player that has high confidence in a freshman.

Matthew “Matt” Caddell, who played at receiver for the Tide from 2003-07, joined Stephen Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine on Monday’s airing of In My Own Words to discuss Alabama’s defense.
