Alabama football players and fans do not believe Nick Saban is done with coaching the Crimson Tide.

Rumors are flying everywhere about Saban possibly heading into retirement after three seasons have past without him capturing a national championship. Lane Taylor, a co-host on The Next Round Show via WJOX 94.5 FM in Birmingham, Ala., sees Saban retiring soon.

He is having a time navigating name, image, and likeness and the NCAA transfer portal.

Saban has not won a College Football National Championship since the 2020 COVID shortened season. Kristen Saban Setas, Nick Saban's daughter, responded to Taylor's comment on social media. Setas watched her father coach the 2023 Crimson Tide to an SEC Championship.

"Well that's silly," Setas said on Instagram to Taylor's comment.

Saban has stated when he reaches a point to where he is not positively affecting the players the way he need to, then he would retire.

He still believes he has a marquee impact on the players in the program. Saban got the 2023 version of Alabama to overachieve after a week two loss to Texas. He coached Jalen Milroe to improvement and got the team to the final four.

Alabama's loss in the Rose Bowl will motivate Saban to reevaluate everything to get the Tide back to being respected.
