Its funny to sit back and read about the commits, preferred walk ons, flips, etc. for Alabama.  But what lies beneath that?  Have you stopped and thought about exactly how many of them will never see actual playing time while on the roster of the Tide?  Yesterday was a good example.  A preferred walk on Jayden George (who also happens to be the son of Jeff George, a 1990 NFL draft pick) committed to Bama.  I'm not saying the young man doesn't have talent, but to know that you are behind Tuax2, the grandson of Bear Bryant, Mack Jones......where will that leave George?  Thoughts?

I am a little shocked how someone of his talent and lineage goes unseen though.

The kid went 14-0 as a starter threw for 3k plus yards 40+ touchdowns.

How is this kid a no start talent? A scout missed the boat here.

He will be there to compete don't see him getting any playing time at the moment though.

Who knows a few years from now he will have a shot like the rest, but may end up transferring somewhere in my opinion.

Haven't seen his film, but he certainly has a shot. Tua will be gone next year and that leaves Mac as the incumbent, but beyond him, the guys are all green. I love his pedigree and he'll get every opportunity to compete and earn reps. That's for sure.
