On February 15, Alabama received a walk-on commitment from 2017 fullback, Michael Parrott of Canton, NC, which was a big deal seeing as fullback is now a position of need for the Crimson Tide and it is the first commitment at the true position in recent memory.
Parrott says he is ‘100 percent’ committed to Alabama and has told me he will be in Tuscaloosa on April 2. “I’ve heard that the facilities are second to none” the Pisgah High School product said. “I’m ecstatic to see what my home for the next four four years is going to be like.” Parrott stated.
He will be attending spring practice and then taking a tour of facilities in Mal Moore Athletic Center and the university as well as meeting the coaching staff, specifically linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi. Parrott also said he would be ‘honored’ to meet his future head coach, Nick Saban.
