Athlon Sports is one of the marquee college football sites, competing with the likes of ESPN, Sporting News and USA Today among others. It released its 2016 preseason All-SEC teams on Tuesday, with 14 Alabama players claiming spots on the first, second, third and fourth teams.
The Crimson Tide’s 14 members were the most by any school in the Southeastern Conference, while LSU came in second (12). Six players from Alabama’s roster were name as first-team selections.
