Alabama’s five-star linebacker Lyndell Wilson has yet to play a down for the Crimson Tide, but the former Carver High School (Montgomery, Ala.) star is saying all the right things on Twitter.
While recovering from both knee and shoulder surgeries, Wilson has been involved with the team in summer workouts. Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide kick off fall practice on Aug. 4 and in honor of that, Wilson relayed a special message to all freshmen last week.
Freshman have to play their role I take in everything the older guys tell me. They know what it takes 💍💍💍

The 6-foot-2, 244-pound outside linebacker is also excited about the Tide’s 2017 recruiting class.

A group that houses names like Jerry Jeudy, Tua Tagovailoa, Najee Harris, Brian Robinson and Alex Leatherwood is bound to generate much joy for not only the coaching staff and players, but fans as well. Wilson, along with fellow five-star linebacker Ben Davis, hopes to earn playing time this season.
Alabama will travel to AT&T Stadium to face Southern California on Saturday, Sept. 3.
