After much speculation, Kendall Sheffield made a decision regarding his transfer school. The former five-star prospect will take his talents to Blinn Community College in Brenham, Texas.
Sheffield’s choice came after he was granted a release from the University of Alabama football program on Tuesday. He intends to spend two semesters at Blinn and then make his return to the Division one ranks, giving him three years of eligibility to work with. The Buccaneers have seen quite a few D-1 stars travel through its area, including former Heisman winner Cameron Newton.
Sheffield will join forces with an Alabama target for its 2017 recruiting class, four-star defensive back Jhavonte Dean.
