The former Alabama defensive back is a tackling machine.
Safety Landon Collins was flying everywhere for the New York Giants in Sunday’s meeting against New Orleans. He finished with five total tackles and a sack of Saints’ quarterback, Drew Brees, in the first quarter.

Third-year player Brandin Cooks leads a very talented group for the Saints on the perimeter, however, not a single receiver totaled 100 yards against Collins and the Giants. He got the better of ex-Crimson Tide standout Mark Ingram, limiting him to 30 yards rushing. New York’s offense had issues protecting the ball, but Collins anchored its defense in holding New Orleans to a 23.1 percent rate on third downs and 41 rushing yards. He’s totaled 11 tackles in two weeks and after 16-13 win at home, Collins and the Giants are now 2-0.
