Well, it’s bye week for Bama. The Tide have been rolling through their schedule, and currently sit atop all the polls.
What should Bama fans doing during the bye week. Good question. Here’s a list of some games worth checking out during Bama’s week off.
10 West Virginia @ Ok. State (Saturday Oct. 20, Noon ET)
The Mountaineers are on a roll. They’re on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs, but they’re still a competitive team. At 6-0, West Virginia could sneak into the playoff if they finish off the season undefeated and some top teams fall. This past weekend, WVU easily took care of TCU (34-10).
14 Florida vs Georgia (Everbank Stadium, Jacksonville, Fla., Saturday Oct. 20, 3:30 p.m. ET)
This is an SEC East showdown with historic ties that may be worth turning into. The Gators suffered one loss to Tennessee, but other than that they have looked competitive. Former Alabama DC – and current Georgia HC – Kirby Smart is looking to improve on his team’s 4-3 record. This could be a statement win for the first year coach.

7 Nebraska @ 11 Wisconsin (Saturday Oct.20, 7 p.m. ET)
Nebraska is undefeated, and they’ll head to Madison, Wisc. to take on a two loss Badger team. For Wisconsin, they need a win to hover around the top 10. For Nebraska, this game has playoff implications. If they win, they can keep their undefeated record intact.
15 Auburn @ Ole Miss (Saturday Oct. 20, 7:15 p.m. ET)
Auburn has been on a hot streak lately. The team is finally gelling, and Bama fans need to watch this game. They’ll be playing an Ole Miss team looking for a signature win this season. I don’t expect Auburn to lose this game. They want to come into the Iron Bowl firing on all cylinders. That game will be their championship, and you can bet they want to beat Bama.
3 Clemson @ 12 Florida State (Saturday Oct. 20, 8:00 p.m. ET)
If Florida State can upset Clemson, this will shake up the College Football Playoff picture. Louisville will probably find their way back in, and other teams will shift around. This game will be a dog fight. Florida State has suffered two tough losses, but this could be their big win on the season at home.
