TUSCALOOSA—One constant remained valid in a time of chaos last week.
Alabama handled Mississippi State 51-3, staying at No. 1 in the College Football Playoff. Despite Clemson, Michigan and Washington all falling, the committee stuck with the Tigers and Wolverines in the top four. While Michigan holds serve at No. 3, Clemson fell to No. 4 after a heart-breaking 43-42 loss against Pittsburgh.
Washington is on the outside at No. 6.
Crimson Tide’s head coach Nick Saban will have his team prepared for this week’s meeting against UT-Chattanooga, as it looks to clean up some things before facing Auburn on Nov. 26.
