He is currently listed as a two-star recruit.
Punters are sometime overlook in the world of football until it is a time that their team really need to flip the field or down a team deep in its own territory. However, history has proven that punters can shaped the outcome of a game. It is pretty evident that Alabama’s defense has no problem with defending a large portion of the field. The Crimson Tide faithful has completely embraced its punter, J.K. Scott.
He has to be one of the most likable specialists by any fan base across the nation. If Delong is looking for a place that he can call home with a crazed fan base that is not bashful about showing their support; he should run to Tuscaloosa.
One can literally hear Bama fans in the stands of Bryant Denny Stadium hollering for J.K. Scott when he runs on the field. Where does that happen? With Scott entering his senior season this fall, Delong can see a possible starting spot in his early college career. There is also the opportunity to be part of a dynamic dynasty at state.
With Delong already committed to Tennessee, it is going to take Nick Saban and company a bit if convincing to turn him away from the Vols.
