Silvera is a defensive tackle out of the state of Florida. He committed to Miami on February 14.

It seems that Nick Saban wants to bring the fight to Mark Richt in the recruiting race, although he is no longer in the SEC.

ESPN and 24/7 sports both have Silvera ranked as a 4 star prospect. He is the #9 defensive tackle in the 2018 class according to ESPN.

It is not hard to see why Alabama has offered this outstanding player. He has great footwork and his pretty fast for his size. The junior DT stands at 6’2″ and weighs 307 pounds.

It has been reported to ESPN that he runs a 5.26 in the 40. His speed plays a huge role in his game. It gives him a great chance at catching quarterbacks that have escaped the pocket. Silvera is one of those extremely aggressive defensive tackle. His focus is on stopping the play in the backfield and he is not going to let anyone to stop him.

This guy also does not give up on plays easily. He is definitely not going to stop until the whistle blows. Running the ball in the middle is not something that he plans on letting anyone do why he is on the field.

SEC schools Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Kentucky have also offered Silvera.

Alabama continues to offer elite 2018 prospects with the hope that they can land some to improve their 2018 recruiting numbers. Nesta Silvera will fit right in with Alabama’s stellar defensive line.
