The negotiations involving a matchup between the University of Alabama and University of Miami are done as both schools will play each other in the 2021 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, per an announcement on Tuesday from the organization.
It will be the 18th meeting between Alabama and Miami, and the first since 1993 national championship game – where the Crimson Tide defeated the Hurricanes, 34-13 to capture its first title since the 1979 season.
Head coach Nick Saban is 4-0 against the Atlantic Coast Conference in season-opening matchups in Atlanta, including a 24-7 victory last week over Florida State.
Facing another Florida power in the next four years should be exciting.
