Alabama’s special team coach, Jeff Banks, was in Texas on Monday and saw a kid that caught his eye and with one phone call later, Nnamdi Adim-Madumere, had an offer from Alabama.
‼️The Crimson Tide‼️
I couldn’t be more happy and thankful than I am right now. I’m very grateful to have been offered from #RollTide The University of Alabama @CoachJeffBanks pic.twitter.com/Ty1uXhMREF— Nnamdi Adim-Madumere👑 (@Nnamdi_777) May 2, 2018
“Alabama’s offer gives me the option to have the most competition,” Adim-Madumere said.
Adim-Madumere also holds offers from SEC schools Missouri and Texas A&M. The Tide have just started to talk to Adim-Madumere and will look to make up a lot off ground with the Texas native. He doesn’t have a visit date set yet but plans to visit soon.
It is easy to see why the Tide have offered this kid. He is a big physical wide receiver at 6-feet-3-inches and 226 pounds. He is an easy target for the quarterback with his great size and is a defensive backs nightmare. This kid has a ton of potential.
Adim-Madumere is a product of Southwest High School in Texas. Jeff Banks is no stranger to this area as he has built connections there during his time at Texas A&M. Hopefully, he can tap into his knowledge of the area and get Madumere to come to Tuscaloosa and join a 2019 class that looks to be pretty special.
