BREAKING: Mark Ingram Gets Suspended For Four Games

© DAILY ADVERTISER-USA TODAY SPORTS

Former Alabama running back and Heisman trophy winner, Mark Ingram, has been suspended for the first four games of the 2018 season for the use of performance-enhancing drugs according to  NFL.com.

Ingram is coming off perhaps his best season as an NFL running back as he rushed for a career-high of  1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns. This development puts the New Orleans Saints in a peculiar position as they were prepared to have Ingram as their featured back. Fortunately, they do have former Tennessee running back and 2017 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Alvin Kamara .

Ingram will be able to return to the Saints on October 1, which is one day after their fourth game of the season against the New York Giants.
