Alabama football and their loaded defense will have to show overconfident Louisville just what championship level football looks like. They’ll be ready to do just that.
There’s something brewing in Louisville, Kentucky. Bobby Petrino has his team and fanbase believing they are ready to compete at the highest level. Coaches, players, and fans alike are growing evermore confident that the Cardinals will be able to stop a mighty rolling Tide. Breaking news Louisville, this isn’t the Kentucky Wildcats. This is the national champions. This is Alabama football.
The Tide doesn’t need bulletin board material to beat Louisville, but UL players are handing it to Bama in droves. Just days after an overconfident Dez Fitzpatrick said, and I’m paraphrasing here, every one of our wide receiver’s can beat every one of Alabama’s DBs one on one, UL offensive lineman Lukayus McNeil has said that he and fellow offensive linemen will be looking to dominate an Alabama defensive line that ranks near tops in the nation on an annual basis. Maybe these guys should all take a lesson from a page in Coach Saban’s book. Let your playing do the talking for you.
Anyone who has ever spent even just a little time around Alabama’s football program has heard one of Nick Saban’s favorite sayings: your actions speak so loudly, I cant hear what you say. As Louisville keeps on talking, Alabama quietly goes about their business of getting ready to make another run at a championship. Unfortunately, Louisville has found themselves between the Tide and their goal of winning another title, and thats not a good place to be. For Louisville’s sake, I hope they all know what they’re getting into. Coach Nick Saban and his Crimson Tide will be ready to go all twelve rounds of a heavyweight fight.
