Carter is the Tide’s 24th commit in the 2019 recruiting class. He is their second commit of the day and second flip from Texas A&M. The Tide now has five defensive backs in their 2019 recruiting class.

Alabama was in the running for Carter’s commitment before his first announcement and many felt the tide would grab him, but it was the Aggies, who got his verbal commitment. However, the Tide did not stop their pursuit. They got Carter on campus two times in the span of a couple of weeks, which is huge during the football season.
The Tide continues their pursuit for the highest ranked class in Saban history and they have reloaded at almost every position in this class.
