Jermaine “FunnyMaine” Johnson, a famous comedian and radio personality for 95.7 JAMZ in Birmingham, Ala., is a believer of Mac Jones. In his push to be the No. 2 quarterback, Johnson has noticed the hard work, leadership and maturity of the redshirt sophomore and is all for him getting an opportunity.
As an avid Crimson Tide fan, Johnson was featured on In My Own Words last week with yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine.
He spoke on how fans need to stop “sleeping on Jones” and how he admires the Floridian for continuing to push, not having an ego and waiting his turn.
