Nick Saban previews Ole Miss, talks importance of signing QB’s in recruiting classes

Alabama head coach, Nick Saban opened Monday’s presser with saying how last week was the most complete game he has seen from the Crimson Tide. The program earned a 49-7 win over Southern Mississippi at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and things are starting to slow down for the freshmen on defense.

However, Saban also knows the importance of Southeastern Conference action as the Tide faces the University of Mississippi this weekend at 2:30 p.m. via CBS.

After previewing the Rebels, Saban praised the leadership of Anfernee Jennings and Xavier McKinney on defense, updated reporters on three injuries, and even spoke on the importance of Alabama getting a verbal commitment from an elite quarterback for each class (Bryce Young, committed for 2020).

As for the injuries, Will Reichard is the lone one listed as “questionable.”

The Tide will have practice at 4:20 p.m.
