With each passing moment, the intensity behind the Alabama-LSU matchup grows.
Former players, national media, current players and even NFL scouts understand the magnitude of this contest at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday. For the Crimson Tide, Tua Tagovailoa (ankle) has looked strong all week in practice and is expected to start versus the Tigers. While he wants his team to win, Ed Orgeron of LSU told his players to not feed into the hype on social media or in player interviews.
After seeing Justin Jefferson (wide receiver) make his statement, Orgeron said a couple of things that the Twitter machine really loved.
On this episode of In My Own Words, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine breaks down Tagovailoa’s progress and the statements Orgeron made that have Alabama fans wanting a victory.
