UA has five players that must own the LSU matchup for NFL Draft status

John David Mercer - USA TODAY Sports

Not too many Alabama fans hold the NFL Draft in high esteem during college football season; however, this weekend is very important. One can expect a representative from all 32 teams to convene upon Bryant-Denny Stadium for the matchup between the Crimson Tide and LSU.

For those that remember the 2011 game between both schools, 45 players combined were selected for the National Football League.

Despite that contest being more defensive oriented, Saturday’s meeting will have star-studded talent on the field.

Aside from the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine and Pro Days, a game like this is the first audition for draft-eligible guys to show scouts their worth. Seeing as how supporters of the Tide love tweeting out the #BuiltByBama every Sunday, Monday and Thursday, this is a money game for five players against LSU.
