Derrick Henry gets recognized by his hometown

Christopher Hanewinckel - USA Today Sports

Former Alabama running back, Derrick Henry’s, name will be the first name someone sees upon arriving in Yulee, Florida as the city has place his name on their newest welcome sign.

Henry played for Alabama from 2013 to 2015. The Florida native won the Heisman Trophy in 2015 and helped led the Tide to a national championship. Henry finished his career at Alabama with 3,591 rushing yards and 42 rushing touchdowns.

The Tennessee Titans selected Henry with the No. 45 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.  Henry’s pro career has gotten off to a nice start as he has racked up 3,125 rushing yards and 30 rushing touchdowns through four seasons so far.
