With Alabama’s final game of the season finally set against Michigan in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day, some members of the team will be faced with a difficult decision. Do you play or do you sit? Or do you return for one more full season?
But according to ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit, the Crimson Tide will have a meeting among those players to decide on what will be done.
Herbstreit, who had an interview with Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa this past week, will be leading the meeting of the draft-eligible players. The ESPN analyst also added that it felt as if it will be an “all in or all out” kind of decision.
It was not made clear as to who else will be attending the meeting or when it will happen.
If multiple players do in fact return, it will likely be compared to the vast number of players on Clemson’s defense a season ago who decided to return and win a national championship rather than turn pro.
