Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa providing more clues on future decision

Brett Davis - USA TODAY Sports

Not trying to read too much into it, but Tua Tagovailoa is making it awfully hard for Alabama fans not to with what he has posted on social media. The junior quarterback is supporting his team this week, as the Crimson Tide will face Michigan at the Citrus Bowl next Wednesday.

While he continues to rehab from a dislocated right hip injury, the native Hawaiian shared a photo to his Snapchat story that has Tide fans thinking on a potential return for next season.

Despite a couple of teams that would be willing to take a top-10 flyer on Tagovailoa in the 2020 NFL Draft, it is more than likely he will be a top-20 selection or lower. Much of his draft stock will be based on how much Alabama’s medical staff feels about his hip.

He has mentioned once before on the gamble he is taking with his decision; however, he is aware of the opportunity to capture a Heisman Trophy and deliver the Tide to a national championship – if he comes back.

He will assist Mac Jones in his preparation for the Wolverines at Camping World Stadium, but Tagovailoa and other draft-eligible juniors will announce their decisions at the end of the season.
