He was a pleasant surprise for Alabama football on defense this season, but he expects to become more of an integral part of the Crimson Tide’s “Revenge Tour” next fall.
After helping the team earn a 35-16 win over Michigan on Wednesday at the Citrus Bowl, Christian Barmore went back to work on Saturday.
Tony Gore, a football coach at Northeast High School in Philadelphia, posted videos on Twitter of Barmore training on his quickness.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder recorded 26 total tackles – including six tackles for loss and two sacks in 13 games.
He would also collect five quarterback hurries and two pass breakups, en route to him earning a spot on the All-Freshman Team for the Southeastern Conference.

Barmore’s energy and production off the bench led to him getting more playing time down the stretch of the 2019 campaign.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., the former four-star will be one of the anchors on a young defensive line.
He will have LaBryan Ray to learn from, as the junior will return next season at defensive end. The decision made by Dylan Moses to return should assure that Barmore and others will be placed in situations to have major success next fall.
He is not satisfied with just being good.
Barmore wants to be one of the best defensive linemen to have ever played at Alabama, and his commitment to training has him on the right path.
Tide fans cannot wait to see the redshirt sophomore in the spring and next season.
