NFL.com analyst selects the best landing spots for Alabama’s wide receivers

With the 2020 NFL Draft approaching ever so slowly there is still a fair amount of mystery to where certain players will land, especially when it comes to Alabama’s wide receivers.

Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs are some of the top receivers in the class and will both be selected on the first day of the draft. But who will be the teams to add the two stars to their arsenals?

NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah, gave his two cents on where the duo should be moving to this season.

First up was Jeudy, who is coming off a huge 200 yard performance against Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. Jeremiah believes that the best match for him would be with the Las Vegas Raiders who are in desperate need of a number one wide receiver.

“We know what they can do on the ground with Josh Jacobs, so why not go get his former teammate at Alabama in Jerry Jeudy.” said Jeremiah

Jeudy would definitely give some much needed support to an offense which at times was carried by Jacobs on the ground. Both of them would also continue to build a hard working mentality to the team’s culture which head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock are looking for.

Ruggs on the other hand was projected to head to a franchise who has been a bit more competitive over the years in the Philadelphia Eagles.

In 2019, the Eagles suffered from countless injuries at the wide receiver spot as well as an obvious lack of speed. These two issues could get wiped away with the selection of Ruggs at no. 21.

He will likely be the fastest player in the draft by a significant margin and has playmaking skills which are right up there with his teammate Jeudy.
