The Coronavirus pandemic has not only brought sports to a halt, but it also prevented some the best college football programs from recruiting.
During this time of social distancing and self-quarantine, high school athletes have not been allowed to take visits to college campuses.
After signing the No. 2 class for 2020, the University of Alabama has just one verbal commitment in its 2021 class. Should football be an option in the fall, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide look to quickly improve its numbers.
On Friday, Justin Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine joined yours truly via In My Own Words to discuss the recruiting cycle.

Smith is the lead scouting and recruiting analyst for TDA. He broke down the communication aspect that coaches still have with recruits and the individuals that remain a priority for the Tide.
