Three reasons why Alabama’s defense will be better this season

After struggling to remain a top-20 group in 2019, Alabama expects to be much improved on defense this season.

Regardless of the Coronavirus pandemic, Nick Saban has hired great minds — including Charile Strong — on his coaching staff to ensure quality on that side of the ball. With an elite recruiting class and experience returning, the Crimson Tide wants get back to affecting quarterbacks, stopping running backs, forcing turnovers and being a unit that is respected and feared defensively.

As tough as it was at times in 2019, there are three reasons to be excited for the defense in the upcoming fall.
