Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Alabama is starting to pick up momentum in recruiting.
On last week, it landed two verbal commitments from Anquin Barnes and Agiye Hall for its 2021 signing class. Barnes, a three-star, is a defensive tackle from Lee High School in Montgomery (Ala.) while Hall is a five-star wide receiver from the state of Florida.
This has the Crimson Tide at three commitments after it was stuck on one for a while.

As it continues to pick up steam, Justin Smith was featured on In My Own Words on Monday to discuss the news.
As the lead scouting and recruiting analyst for Touchdown Alabama Magazine, Smith not only talked about what makes Barnes and Hall special but he also dove into other young athletes that are on Alabama’s radar.
Nick Saban and the Tide want to continue getting all the in-state talent.
