VIDEO: Terrell Lewis will be the steal of the NFL Draft for Alabama

One of the favorite topics for Alabama fans in this time of the year is which former Crimson Tide player will be the steal of the NFL Draft?

Eddie Jackson was the latest example of this, seeing how he was a first-round value that dropped to the fourth round of the 2017 venue.

A leg injury in 2016 pushed Jackson to pick No. 112 where he was taken by the Chicago Bears, and he is now the highest-paid safety in the league. People have their picks and chooses of who will represent Alabama as this year’s steal, but yours truly of TDA is sticking with defense.

Major injuries did not allow him to play much in 2017 and 2018 – missed entire 2018 season – however, Terrell Lewis flashed signs of dominance last year.

The 6-foot-5, 262-pound outside linebacker collected 31 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, six sacks and a team-high 16 quarterback pressures through 11 regular season games.

He thoroughly impacted matchups versus Texas A&M, Tennessee and Arkansas, as 13 of his 31 tackles came in those three games combined.

He is still developing his technique, but Lewis can be highly productive in the right system.
