Several programs across the nation were fighting for 4-Star safety, Kaine Williams, but it was the Tide, who came out on top in the fight for his verbal commitment Friday.
Williams chose the Tide over LSU and Texas A&M, who were both in his final three. The Tide was the last team to get Williams on campus as they hosted him for their Junior Day event in March. According to Williams’ father, Carlon Johnson, Alabama was the right situation for Williams and his family.
